Middleton Technology School Prom 2010

Date published: 02 July 2010

Students from Middleton Technology School got together  to celebrate their five years at the school.

The young men accompanied by their dates arrived at the school on Kenyon Lane in stretch limousines ready for their high school prom.

Romance certainly isn’t dead in Middleton it seemed, as many young ladies were given a rose from their sweetheart.

The teens met at the school before being driven away in coaches to a mystery location.

Parents lined the streets to watch their children be whisked away for their special evening.

Head of Year 11, Mr Royales said: “They are fantastic. Such a lovely bunch of students. I am extremely sad to see them leave and it has been a privilege to be their head of year. I wish them all the best for the future.”

Scott Eyres was excited to find out where the mystery location was for the prom but said he was ready to move on from school.

“I want to be an electrician,” he said “Hopefully I will get an apprenticeship. I think it would be a decent job and it is a good trade.”

Hannah Marker is looking forward to studying for her A-Levels at Oldham Sixth Form College, she said: “I want to be an archaeologist because I think it would be a very interesting job.”
