Women tied up in Heywood robbery

Two women were tied up when robbers broke into a house in Heywood.
Police were called to a house on Manchester Road at 8.40am on Friday 25 June 2010.
Officers attended and discovered two women, had been threatened by three men armed with a knife and baseball bats.
A Volkswagen Polo was stolen in the robbery, which is thought happened at about 6am.
The car was found abandoned on Hollin Lane.
Detective Sergeant Andrew Butterworth, of Rochdale CID, said: "The women have not been injured but are understandably upset by what has happened.
"I am keen to hear from anyone who might have been in the area early this morning or who may have seen the car being abandoned."
