St. Clements Church, Spotland
St Clement's Church in Spotland celebrated their 175th anniversary last Saturday (26 June 2010) with their annual Grand Summer Fayre.
The church raised more than £700 at the fayre on one of the hottest days of the year.
Those who attended enjoyed a variety of stalls including chocolate and bottle tombola’s, face painting, car wash and a café.
Church Warden Mrs Wild said: “The event was very successful, the fayre was visited not only by people from the church but also people from the surrounding community and there was plenty for everyone to do.”
