Lorry fire causes M60 closure - junction 19

The carriageway on the M60 close to junction 19 has been closed both ways following a lorry fire.
Shortly after 2.40pm today (Monday 28 June 2010), police were called to junction 19 of the M60 anti-clockwise, by the fire service.
A lorry is currently on fire and the carriageway has been closed in both directions while it is dealt with.
No other vehicles are involved and no one has suffered any injuries.
People are advised to find alternate routes.
