Shappi Khorsandi will perform at the Middleton Arena

Rapidly rising comedian Shappi Khorsandi will appear at the Middleton Arena this autumn during her UK tour.

The star of television shows including Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Live at The Apollo, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and 8 Out of 10 Cats will be on stage at the arena on Sunday 24 October 2010.

She will perform her new show ‘The Moon on a Stick’, which is “about wanting it all”, following its premiere at this summer’s Edinburgh Festival.

Earlier this year she starred in Channel 4’s Comedy Gala at the 02 Arena in London, and she will be familiar to Radio 4 listeners, where she hosts ‘Shappi Talk’.

Widely regarded as one of the UK’s top young female comedians, Shappi will be appearing in Middleton as part of the Manchester Comedy Festival.
