Cookery Club
Cookery club will resume as normal on Wednesday 30 June and will run until 14 July.
BIKE-IT – Thursdays! Don’t forget Bike-It Thursdays. Anyone coming to school on their bike will be given a free raffle ticket to go in the draw for a new bike at the end of the year. Those children who come on their bikes on a Thursday can have a free breakfast as long as they are in no later than 8.30am.
If they come on their bike any other day they will be given a raffle ticket but free breakfasts will only be given on a Thursday.
Summer Fair – Friday 25 June
The teachers will be taking the children round the Year 6 stalls in the afternoon and then the rest of the fair will be open to children and parents from 3.15pm – the children can bring money into school to spend – please make sure it is in a purse or a money bag.
There will be lots of stalls including Good as New; Toys; Books; Home-baked stall; Name the Croc; Pint Pot Stall; Face Painting; Chocolate Tombola; Bottle Tombola; Wet Sponges
(come and soak Mrs. Coxell, Mrs. Prince and Mrs. Taylor).
We are still collecting donations for ‘Good as New’, toys, books, etc.
We will be collecting items for the home-baked/biscuit stall on Friday morning.
Please let the office know if you are able to help in any way, either setting up from 1.30pm or at the Fair from 3.15pm. Thank you.
Please come along and support the school – this is our main fundraising event and all money raised will go back into school for the benefit of all children.
Year 5/6 Swimming Team
The team did extremely well in the Gala and are now training for the inter-league final on Monday, 28 June.
Dinner Money
Please send dinner money in on a Monday morning in an envelope with your child’s name and class on. Lunches are £1.70 per day - £8.50 per week. Thank you.
School Meals
Next week we are on Week 1.
Music Lessons
Fees for this half term are £16.20. Please also pay any outstanding fees as soon as possible. These fees need to be paid in order for children to continue with their lessons. Thank you.
Text Messaging Service
You will have noticed we have started a text messaging service in school. We are trialling this for a month to inform parents of events, etc. To help us manage this and make the service successful, please ensure that you keep school up-to-date with any change in mobile phone numbers.

Tesco Vouchers
We have to send any Tesco Vouchers off this week and we are not allowed to keep any back, so please bring any you have into school as soon as possible.
Story Sacks – Reception
Some children will be taking Story Sacks home on Wednesdays. Please ensure these are brought back into school the next Wednesday so they can be checked and sent out again with other children.
Reception
Reception are in need of plastic squeezy bottles for use in the outside play area and used cards, e.g. birthday, anniversary, etc. for their cut and stick area. Thank you.
Leaver’s Service
Our year 6 children are going to Manchester Cathedral for a leaver’s service on Monday, 28th June.
Governors Meeting
There is a full Governor’s meeting on Monday, 28th June at 6.45pm.
New Parents
The New Parent Induction Meeting is on Tuesday 29th June at 6pm, for parents of children starting in September.
Soccer Factory
Year 4 children are going to a Tri-Golf Festival on Tuesday 29th June at 1-3pm.
