Man racially abused and assaulted

A man was racially abused and assaulted in Rochdale.
The victim was walking along Manchester Road near Sudden service station at about 10.10pm on Wednesday 5 May 2010, when two men shouted abuse at him.
The pair then followed the man and kicked and punched him in the head and back, knocking him to the ground.
The victim was bitten on the ear by one of the offenders before both ran off with his hat.
Both attackers were white and wearing hooded tops. One is described as 5ft 6in tall with a round face and the other 5ft 8in tall.
