An Earth Café forum will be held in Rochdale
Earth Café is holding an Environmental Sustainability Action Forum at the Bowling Green Hut in Broadfield Park, Rochdale, as part of a series of events that will also focus on the themes of climate change and local transition to a low carbon economy.
It will take place on Tuesday 29 June 2010 between 7.00pm and 9.00pm.
Earth Café’s Andrew Wastling said: “Sustainability for us is about thinking years ahead, rather than just from election to election. Earth Café believes that together the environmentally conscious people that live in this town can make our town on the edge of the Pennines a North West centre of excellence for Environmental Sustainability.
“If you’d like to get involved with making a difference to the town that we all call home, then please come along to this meeting to help make a positive, sustainable and green input to a community that needs change to happen.”
Over 50 people attended the organisation's last event at Touchstones in late April 2010.
