Khubsuret House was given a fire safety talk on Friday 18 June, warning tenants what to do in an emergency.
Steve Ashworth, Crew Manager of Rochdale Borough Command HQ, visited the home to discuss fire safety.
Khubsuret House, part of St Vincent’s Housing Association, was built in 1994 specifically to cater for the BME Community but over the years it has become more and more diverse and now has 6 different cultures living together.
Salma Choudri Scheme Manager said: “The talk was immensely helpful as more and more residents are becoming very frail, we would like to thank Steve Ashworth from the Community Fire Safety Department for his prompt attendance and the invaluable information in his presentation.”
