Howard Street Sure Start Centre enjoys music day

Children and parents at Howard Street Sure Start Children’s Centre enjoyed a special music and dancing session recently.
Over 90 parents and children attending the hugely successful day which involved drumming, making musical instruments, story time for Ray Stern at the library service and outdoor activities.
There was plenty for everyone to get involved in.
One child commented: “I like making the shakers, they were fun.”
One parent said: “Many thanks for such an interesting event, children were so very exited.”
Another parent said:“A brilliant day, well organised and really entertaining for the young ones. Thank you and well done staff.”
Howard Street Sure Start Children’s Centre offer a full timetable of events for families with children aged 0 – 5 throughout the week. This is now online at www.rochdale.gov.uk/childrenscentres or call 01706 646103.
