Rochdale men in court over Blackpool off-licence robbery

Two Rochdale men have appeared in court today (Tuesday 15 June 2010) accused of the robbery of an off-licence in Blackpool in which they stole cash, cigarettes and alcohol valued at £245.
The shopkeeper was also assaulted with a wine bottle in the incident, which occurred last Saturday (12 June 2010).
The men have been named as Dane Parker, a 26-year-old electrician, of Town Mill Brow, and Darren Kendrick, a jobless 26-year-old, of Whitehall Street.
