Couple in with a chance of winning their dream wedding

A Rochdale-born bride-to-be desperate for her dream wedding has a few days until she will find out if that dream will come true.

Claire Sampson, 23, originally from Rochdale has been with the love of her life for almost three years after meeting in a Manchester casino.

A few months ago Claire, now living in Cheshire, entered them into a competition to win their dream wedding courtesy of OK! Magazine.

On Tuesday (15 June 2010) Claire and her partner, Steven Spencer, 28, will find out if they are the winners of a wedding of a lifetime.

There are six other couples also in the running for a dream wedding.

If they are the lucky couple they will win a wedding just like that of Wayne and Coleen Rooney, including a designer wedding dress, the Rooneys’ wedding planners and a celebrity photographer.

With just a few days to go Claire and Steven have a nervous wait ahead of them. Claire said: “It would mean the world if we could win this competition.

“We celebrated the birth of our first daughter Eva this year on the 7 February at 7pm and she weighed just under 7lbs on a Sunday - seventh day of the week - so we are hoping that considering we are the seventh couple this may be our lucky number.”
