NSPCC Ascot day all set

For the sixth consecutive year the Rochdale branch of the NSPCC will holding an “Ascot at Nutters” luncheon on Thursday 17 June 2010. The event is a sell out with all 180 tickets being taken up within three weeks of release.
Those attending this year have been give a “Pink” theme and Nutter’s Restaurant in Norden, Rochdale, will be full of ladies in their finest outfits and in particular their exotic hats for which there will be a top prize.
Organiser John Kay said: “Its always a special day with all the ladies wearing their finest and raising money for a good cause.”
During the event, tickets will be auctioned for the England v Australia match at Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Sunday 27 June 2010.
All profits, which are expected to exceed £5,000, will go to the NSPCC.
Rochdale Online will be taking photos at the event.
