BIKE-IT – Thursdays! - Don’t forget Bike-It Thursdays. Anyone coming to school on their bike will be given a free raffle ticket to go in the draw for a new bike at the end of the year. Those children who come on their bikes on a Thursday can have a free breakfast as long as they are in no later than 8.30am.
If they come on their bike any other day they will be given a raffle ticket but free breakfasts will only be given on a Thursday.

Swimming
The Inter-league heats for Year 5/6 swimming team are on Friday 11th June in the afternoon at Castleton Baths. If we are successful we will go through to the Finals. There will be no training this Friday morning, 11th June for the swimming team.
There will be no swimming lessons for Year 4 this Friday afternoon, 11th June.

Dinner Money
Please send dinner money in on a Monday morning in an envelope with your child’s name and class on. Lunches are £1.70 per day - £8.50 per week. Thank you.

New Menus
We are now on the new Spring /Summer menus.
Next week we are on Week 2.

Music Lessons
Fees for this half term are £16.20. Please also pay any outstanding fees as soon as possible. These fees need to be paid in order for children to continue with their lessons. Thank you.

Library Books Can Year 3 children please make sure they have returned all books from Castleton Library. Thank you.

Cycling Year 5 children will be learning cycling skills on Monday, 14th June.

Summer Fair
This year’s Summer Fair is on Friday, 25th June. The teachers will be taking the children round the fair in the afternoon and then the fair will be open to parents from 3.15pm – the children can bring money into school to spend in the afternoon – please make sure it is in a purse or a money bag. Please come along and support the school – this is our main fundraising event and all money raised will go back into school for the benefit of all children.

We are now collecting donations for ‘Good as New’, toys, books, etc.

If anyone has any contacts for donations for our raffle we would really appreciate it.

Year 1 Trip
Year 1 are going on a trip to Blackpool Zoo on Monday, 14th June.

Climb UK
Class 6C are going to Climb UK on Tuesday, 15th June. Class 6G are going on Thursday, 17th June.
