Welcome back to everyone after a well-earned half term break. We especially welcome back our Year 10 and 12 students who spent most of half term in Paris and our PE students who took part in sports tournaments in Spain. Congratulations to everyone who took part in the visits and to those who won trophies for their efforts.

This week’s theme was The Catholic Rescue Society and our Enterprise capability was Personal Responsibility. Next week is Refugee Week and form groups have been busy preparing ways to contribute to the celebration to show that Cuthbert’s Cares. Activities such as singing, praying, sharing meals and celebrating through dance will take place next week.

GCSE and A Level exams are now well under way. Study rooms are available for allstudents who are not in a timetabled exam. Please note the paved area around the back of the sports hall is not available at breaks and lunch times during the exam period – please use the senior yard, all-weather pitch and fields for playing ball games.

Whole School Homework Club takes place after school in the PLC – please take this opportunity to use the school facilities for research and homework activities. Year 7 Homework Club runs every lunchtime in the Year 7 area.
