Life is Great!
A Rochdale councillor has won a national photography competition with one of his holiday photos.
Councillor Greg Couzens won £250 in Nikon’s monthly competition ‘In-Frame Photo of the Month.’
The photograph shows his family jumping in the air on a beach and is titled ‘Life is Great!’
Mr Couzens who runs a hair salon in the town, said: “Apart from one of my photographs displayed in the Rochdale hospice calendar this is the only photographic competition that I have entered.
“Photography is a passion of mine but sadly I rarely find the time.
“One thing I would like to highlight is that the aspirations within the Borough seem quite low and this shows that anyone can achieve anything if they truly desire.”
