Puppies die in house fire
Date published: 07 June 2010
Three puppies died in a house fire on Rooley Moor Road last night (Sunday 6 June 2010).
Fire-fighters were called to the mid-terrace property at around 7pm.
The fire damaged the living room and smoke damage was caused to the remainder of the house and was caused by an electrical fault.
Fire-fighters rescued a Jack Russell dog and three puppies from the house, giving them oxygen therapy. Unfortunately the puppies did not survive.
