Friends wish viaduct fall girl a speedy recovery

Alexandra fell from the viaduct in Healey Dell on Tuesday evening
Friends of 14-year-old Alexandra Alford, who fell 150ft from a viaduct in Healey, Shawclough have been posting sincere messages of recovery on a social networking site.
The teen known to her friends as ‘Lexie’ plummeted from the viaduct around 7.45pm on Tuesday (1 June 2010) night.
The group on social networking site Facebook is called ‘Like if you love Lexie Alford and want her to be okay.’
Over one hundred people have signed upto the group which says: ‘Lexie you are in all our hearts we just want u to pull through this.’
One friend posted ‘I love you Lexi and you will get better because I know you, you are strong and I hope you know that every one is supporting you and hoping that you will get through this.’
Another well-wisher wrote: ‘Come on Lexie you're strong enough to pull through. Get well soon chick.’
Alexandra’s family are understood to be at her bedside at the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.
Her condition has been described as critical, but stable.
Alexandra suffered hip, pelvis, back and head injuries.
