Healey Primary School
The May Tea was a great success, we had a lovely sunny afternoon and the entertainment was most enjoyable. Thank you to all who came, and Ring and Ride for their patient running around.
Will all parents who have children taking up music lessons please note that FINAL reminders last term have been issued. It is with regret that failure to settle the account will result in lessons being withdrawn. If you have not received an invoice, it could be lurking in the depths of the school bag!
Next Tuesday the Year 6 children are off to Manchester Museum. The trip will be all day and all pupils should have the details.
On Friday Blue Watch (Fire men) are coning to speak to Reception as part of their ‘People who Help Us’ project.
Well done to the children who were presented with the Achievement Award last week;
Reception: Elysia McKenzie-Cobb
Year 1: Daryl Rosales
Year 2: Oliver Bray
Year 3: Callum Jackson
Year 4: Harrison King
Year 5: Aiden Jackson
Year 6: Sarina Iqbal.
Highest attendance was Year 2 with over 99%
Finally we have a request for all parents. We are desperate for help in school, especially for someone to hear readers in Year 5 and 6. If you can spare a couple of hours on a regular basis, one day a week we would love to welcome you. All the necessary checks will be organised by school. The PTA would like to welcome new members too, to help with organising the group and events. Please try to spare some of your precious time.
