Life-threatening injuries

A man has life-threatening injuries following a collision in Rochdale.
Shortly before 12pm on Thursday 13 May 2010, police were called to Halifax Road following a report of a collision.
Officers attended the scene and found a 22-year-old man had been in collision with a Subaru.
He has been taken to hospital for treatment to a broken arm, broken leg and head injuries. His condition is described as life threatening.
The eastbound side of Halifax Road was closed for almost three hours but these closures have been lifted.
