Attendance
The winners of the attendance certificate week ending 7th May 2010 were Green and Yellow classes with an attendance of 100%. Excellent Green and Yellow Classes. The overall attendance for the school was 96.5%.

Units 3 & 4 Homework
Over the weekend please have this family discussion – all classes will be discussing this during the week.

Dinner Money
Many parents have expressed an interest in paying dinner money in advance for the next half term. If you would like to do this please send in a cheque made payable to Shawclough C P School for £56.10 (for the period 7 June to 21 July 2010 inclusive). Please place the cheque in the class box and label clearly - with the child’s name, class and dinner money.

Vomiting
Please keep your children off school for 48 hours after vomiting to prevent the spread of infection.

Cycle to School - Tuesdays
Don’t’ forget to cycle to school each Tuesday and claim your free breakfast.

Bright to School Day - Monday 24 May 2010
On Monday 24 May we are encouraging all children to wear very bright clothes and take part in a Bright Fashion Show. We hope that the event will help children understand the importance of wearing bright clothes when they are walking and cycling to school. So dress up brightly and walk or cycle to school on Monday 24 May.
