Attendance The winner of the attendance certificate week ending 30 April 2010 was Green Class with an attendance of 99.3%. Very well done Green Class. The overall attendance for the school was 96.4%.

Units 3 & 4 Homework
Over the weekend please have this family discussion – all classes will be discussing this during the week.

Dinner Money

  • Where possible could parents pay by cheque for school meals, you can put more than one child on the same cheque, you can also pay for the full half term
  • If the correct money is not sent into school then the change will be kept on your child’s balance. Change will no longer be given
  • Reminder – your child will have to stay on packed lunches or school dinners for the full half term, they will not be allowed to swop during the half term

Thrum Hall Methodist Church
Enjoy a natter with your friends after you have dropped off the kids at school?
Then come and enjoy a chat over a cup of coffee (or tea) in the Church. Starting 21 April, the Church is open from 8.45am till 10am every Wednesday during term time. You will be very welcome.

End Of Key Stage Tests – Key Stage 2
Unit 4 children will be taking these tests next week in school. Will you please ensure that your child has had a good nights sleep, good breakfast and is happy.

Expo Chef
On Monday, 17 May the children in Years 3,4,5 and 6 will be watching a healthy cooking exhibition by Expo Chef. Parents are also welcome to watch the demonstration in the School Hall which is due to being at 9.30 a.m. and is expected to last for about 2 hours.
