Rev’d Lynne Connolly held her final service last Sunday, 25 April.
Rev’d Connolly was presented with a card and cheque from the congregation and also a book and bookmark as a memento of her time with us.
Rev’d Connolly has been vicar at St. Clement’s since 25 September 2002; she is going as Priest in charge at St. James with St. Saviour East Crompton and will be licensed in her new parish on 16 May.
Sunday: 10.30am Sung Holy Communion, during the service our Sunday school ‘Clemmie’s Club’ meets in the hall and all children are welcome.
Evening Prayer service on Tuesday 11 May at 7.30pm.
Thursday 13 May-Ascension Day there will be a Said Holy Communion Service at 9.30am and a Sung Holy Communion Service at 7.30pm
The Monday Nighters meeting on Monday 10 May at 7.30pm has a change of speaker and topic from the one previously advertised, it will now be ‘Lancashire Dialect Writing’ by Alison Brailsford
Saturday 22 May 10am-Noon, a Coffee Morning with cake stall, bring & buy and a raffle. Admission is £1.00 including refreshments and all monies raised will be donated to Christian Aid.
