End of the line for Danczuk?

Simon Danczuk shows off his campaign website
This week Prime Minister Gordon Brown dropped a real clanger in Rochdale when he called Gillian Duffy a bigot. What effect has this had on the voters of Rochdale and will they be voting for Labour, and its Rochdale candidate Simon Danczuk?
Rochdale Online reporter Laura Wild asked shoppers on Yorkshire Street their views, the majority of people said they either aren’t voting at all, and if they are they won't be voting for Mr Danczuk.
Philip Greenwood, 20, said: “Since I have been old enough to vote I have voted for the Lib Dems.
"Gordon Brown was wrong and to me he looked like he was smirking when he apologised, which isn’t right at all.”
Philip’s mother Angela Greenwood, 46, added: “I have voted Labour since I was 18 but I won’t be voting for them this year. I have turned my back on them completely now. They have lost my vote; I will be voting Lib Dem.”
Ian Kershaw knows Gillian Duffy very well, he said: “I think he [Gordon Brown] is a bigot! Gillian said her piece and I think she was right to question him.
“To tell you the truth, I don’t vote any more. I have lost interest in the government totally. They are just battling against each other and they don’t care about us the British people.”
Derek Gale said: “Apologising doesn’t make a difference, he shouldn’t have said it in the first place.
"I don’t vote any more I think it is an absolute waste of time.”
Susan Turner said: “What Gordon Brown said wasn’t right and it has put him in a totally different light. I haven’t decided who I am voting for yet.”
Pat Leach and Delia Rahman are also friends of Gillian Duffy; they said she was extremely upset with what the Prime Minister said.
“Gillian was perfectly right to ask that question. I won’t be voting Labour anyway, but if I was going to I would be seriously re-considering it now."
"I think he is an idiot for not realising his microphone was still on,” said Mrs Leach.
Mrs Rahman added: “Gillian was upset and shocked; she is such a lovely lady.
"I won’t be voting for Labour.”
