Man injured in brawl

A man had to have 14 staples to a serious head wound after he was assaulted by an unknown offender at Soccer Village on Wildhouse Lane, Rochdale.
The man, aged 35, was attacked as he attempted to break up a fight that had started in the bar area at around 1.45am on Monday 5 April 2010.
He was injured after being hit with an unknown object by his attacker and taken to hospital for treatment after being knocked unconscious.
An event called 'House Nation' was taking place at the time of the incident.
