Murder charge

Michael Anthony Williams has been charged with murdering Anthony Kershaw at Smallbridge on Tuesday.
He will appear at Rochdale Magistrates Court this morning.
Just after midnight on Tuesday 20 April 2010, police were called to a flat on Great Howarth, Smallbridge following reports a man had been stabbed in a disturbance.
Police attended and a 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment. He remained in a serious condition in hospital but died at 10.50am.
