Bluetones to release sixth album

The Bluetones - Feel Good Festival 2009
The Brit poppers the Bluetones, who headlined last year's Feel Good Festival in Rochdale, are on the verge of releasing their sixth album, “A New Athens”, and are heading out on tour to mark the occasion.
It’s been four years since the quartet brought out anything new but the lads have been busy touring and writing music for David Walliams’s children’s audio books.
Mark Morriss (vocals), Adam Devlin (guitar), Scott Morriss (bass) and Eds Chesters (drums), got together in 1993 and released their biggest hit 'Slight Return' two years later.
While many Britpop bands had given up by the late 90s, the Bluetones kept going and enjoyed hits with 'Keep the Home Fires Burning' and 'Marblehead Johnson'.
The band recently played live with former Britpop rivals Dodgy at a secret London venue in a bid to raise money for homelessness charity Crisis.
