Thank you to unsung heroes

Ten unsung heroes were treated to a night of football last week. The Rochdale versus versus Darlington game at Spotland was sponsored by the council, who also gave the chance for the ten hard working unsung heroes to have an evening out, including a pre-match meal and seats for the game.
The result was not what they were all hoping for, but a superb night was had by everyone, and their celebrations weren’t delayed too long after as Rochdale secured promotion to League One at the weekend.
Rochdale Township Manager Jill Hodkinson said: "“We wanted to support the club in their best ever season and take the opportunity to give some deserving Rochdale residents a fabulous evening out. Our guests have all done great work for their local community, so we wanted to give them a big thank you too.”
