Wardleworth Community Centre Association

Wardleworth Community Centre Association has been running strongly since 1979 providing activities and services for all members of the community.
The Association currently have youth clubs, advice sessions, exercise classes, sewing classes, dance clubs, arabic classes and Adult Care Services to name a few of the activities running at the centre.
At their 2010 AGM, approximately 80 locals attended, locals expressed satisfaction with the centre and its staff and also offered their support on the continuation of services.
Centre Development Worker, Mohammed Abdul-Basith, said: "Last year the centre went through a phase of great difficulty due to staff shortages but now with the right staff in place and invaluable support from volunteers the centre is moving from strength to strength."
