Man stabbed

A man was stabbed and punched during an altercation in Rochdale.
At 5:25pm on Thursday 15 April 2010 police received a call after a man had been stabbed on Yarwell, Rochdale.
Police attended to find a 34-year-old man with a stab wound to the abdomen. He also suffered a fractured jaw and broken nose.
He was taken to Rochdale Infirmary but his injury is not believed to be life threatening. He has since been discharged.
Two men, aged 22 and 25, have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and remain in police custody for questioning.
