What should happen in Middleton?

Date published: 19 February 2008

'It's your town and you can make a difference' - that's the message from the Middleton Township Committee, who are inviting local residents to the Civic Centre on 3 March to put forward their views after looking at the plans and priorities for Middleton.

"I think it's important that the public have a say about what happens in Middleton, so we are holding this event to give people a chance to see the plans for the town and then tell us what they think," said Janet Watson, Middleton Township Manager.

The new Township Plan, which identifies priorities and future plans for Middleton will be available to see, together with representatives from various groups and forums which work with the Township office.

Councillor Peter Williams, Chairman of Middleton Township, said: "This is a chance to give us your views and influence the changes we make.  You will be able to ask questions about what we are doing on your behalf and tell us what we should be doing."

Complimentary refreshments will be served and everyone is invited to the Civic Centre on 3 March between 2.00 pm - 7.00 pm - just drop in.

If you can't make the event but would like to express a view or would just like more information, contact the Township Offices.
