Littleborough man arrested in porn probe

A Littleborough man appeared before Trafford Magistrates Court yesterday (Tuesday 9 June) charged with possessing and distributing indecent images.
The arrest of Colin Blanchard, 38, resulted in the arrest of Plymouth nursery worker Vanessa George.
It is believed that a photograph of George wearing the nursery’s logo was found on a device belonging to Blanchard.
Blanchard’s charges relate to images found on a computer, mobile phones and other software.
As a result of the enquiry Greater Manchester police passed information on to the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary.
The nursery in Plymouth is attended by more than 60 children aged two and above and has been closed whilst police continue their inquiries.
