Teen charged for attacking boy (Middleton)

A 17-year-old boy has been charged in connection with an attack on a boy as he walked to his grandmother’s house in January.
The victim, 16, suffered severe cuts to his face and body, ruptured ligaments in his leg, and a broken hand.
He was attacked as he walked along Lakeland Court in Middleton.
A 17-year-old boy has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and is due at Rochdale Youth Court on Wednesday (10 June).
