Children’s centres set for Fathers Day fun

In the run up to Fathers Day, some fun at the weekend has been arranged for local fathers and their children.
There will be two events taking place at Sure Start Children’s Centres in Rochdale to encourage Dads and children to spend time together.
The fun will include activities such as face paining, sports, games and an opportunity to create Fathers day gifts.
The first of these events will take place on Saturday 13 June at the Woodland Children’s Centre at 10.30am for one hour.
For new visitors to the centre there will also be an opportunity to find out more about the support on offer for children, young people and families.
The second event will take place on Saturday 20 June at 10.30am at Deeplish Sure Start Children’s centre, for a two hour ‘Crafty Kids’ session.
Deeplish Children’s Centre offer a full time table of events for families with children aged 0 – 5 throughout the week.
