Residents to speak up on priorities for Middleton

Date published: 21 April 2009

The Middleton Township Committee are inviting residents to the Middleton Arena on Monday 27 April to put forward their views on what should be included in the Township Plan, which looks at the priorities for Middleton.

"I think it's important that the public have a say about what happens in Middleton, so we are holding this event to give people a chance to tell us what you think about how council services should be delivered in your area,” said Janet Watson, Middleton Township Manager.

“It is an open session so please feel free to come along; your views count and can help improve the future of Middleton.”

Everyone who takes part, or who has already contributed ideas, will be entered into a prize draw to win a free pair of tickets to a forthcoming show at the Middleton Arena.

Complimentary refreshments will be served and residents are free to drop in anytime between 12pm and 5pm.

Anyone that can not make the event but would like to express a view or would like more information Middleton Township staff will also be at the Arena this Saturday afternoon from 12pm to 3pm.
