Shot fired at bar in Middleton

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a gun shot was fired at the door of a bar in Middleton.
Nobody was injured in the incident, which happened on Townley Street at about 10.45pm on Saturday 27 February, but officers have confirmed that evidence of a shot fired was found at the scene.
Witnesses have also described seeing a man wearing a balaclava and holding a weapon standing in the street at the time of the attack.
Detective Sergeant Nick Haigh, from GMP's Major Incident Team said: "This is a very serious offence, and we need to catch the person responsible. Someone out there will know who did this, and we need your help. Come forward. We will treat you in the strictest of confidence."
