The week long Recycled Teenagers festivals will return later this year across the borough.
Various weeks of activities aimed at providing people over 55 with an opportunity to get active and involved in their local community are scheduled, starting in May.
A range of activities will be on offer, from writing classes and computer sessions, to ten pin bowling and fitness classes.
Events will start in Middleton on Monday 18 May, Heywood on Monday 29 June, the Pennines on Monday 13 July and Rochdale on Monday 28 September.
Councillor Pauline Maguire, cabinet member for older people said: “I am delighted that Recycled Teenagers is returning for the second year running. The events were so well received last year and it's great news we are arranging it again. For those that didn’t attend last year it’s a perfect opportunity to get to know what’s going on in your area – and maybe the start of a new hobby.”
