Award for former council chief exec

Frances Done
A former chief executive of Rochdale Counci has been given an Outstanding Achievement Award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Frances Done, a chartered accountant who was also the chief executive of Manchester's Commonwealth Games organising committee, is now chairwoman of the Youth Justice Board and a trustee of Manchester's People's History Museum.
Ms Done played a major role in the re-opening of the Rochdale Canal as Chairman of the Trustees of The Waterways Trust.
