Post Office ready for re-opening

An Oldham Road post office has been fully refurbished and will re-open to the public next Saturday (7 March).
Rochdale Post Office was bought by Jay Patel, who also owns Buersil post office, and the postmaster has been busy getting his new shop ready for the big opening.
Mr Patel bought Rochdale post office after the Buersil office, also on Oldham Road, was earmarked for closure as part of a national cost cutting exercise.
Buersil post office will close on 17 March after the original deadline was extended from September last year.
