Family appeal: Danny has been missing since Wednesday 4 February
A teenage boy who went missing from home following a police warrant has been found safe and well.
Daniel Sharples disappeared from his Smallbridge home on Wednesday 4 February, after his failure to appear in court landed him in trouble with the authorities.
The worried family of the 15-year-old appealed for his safe return on Rochdale Online, and a group was set up on the social networking site Facebook requesting information on his whereabouts.
It is believed Daniel was found in the Middleton area on Friday 20 February.
A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police said: “Daniel as found safe, but was arrested by police as he was wanted on warrant for failing to appear in court.
“He has not been remanded in custody but a court date will be set”.
