Second man charged over Heywood shooting

A second man has been charged after a car was shot at in Heywood last month.
James Clarke, 28, of no fixed abode, has been charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and witness intimidation.
He is due to appear at Rochdale Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday 23 February).
A car was shot at on Whalley Road near the junction with Sabden Close at about 12.20am on Sunday 25 January.
John Lamb, 27, of Bury New Road, Heywood has also been charged with attempted murder, possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and witness intimidation.
He was remanded in custody and is next due to appear in court on Tuesday 21 April.
