Man charged after Middleton post office robbery

A man has been charged after a robbery at a post office in Middleton.
Lee Shelley, 24, of no fixed abode has been charged with robbery and possession of a knife in a public place.
He was due to appear at Rochdale Magistrates Court today (Friday 20 February).
At about 10am on Tuesday (17 February), cash was stolen during a robbery at a Post Office on Wood Street.
