Local Charity DIAL has temporarily relocated
Date published: 28 August 2007
Disability Information and Advice Line (DIAL), the local Charity which loans wheelchairs and provides information relating to disability, is moving until October. DIAL is based in Milton Street sharing the CAB building. Renovation work means that DIAL has moved to the former Shopmobility premises on Fountain Street in Middleton.
Opening hours remain the same, 10.00am - 12 noon on Monday and 11.00am to 1.30 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. The charity hopes that its phone number, 0161 653 2729, should still work as normal.
Chairman John Orford thanked the volunteers who made the move possible. He said: "We are a small charity and we rely purely on volunteers who have put in a tremendous amount of work, which will allow us to keep the service going for the benefit of local people."
Based in Middleton, DIAL provides services for people living within the Rochdale borough.
