Neighbour's dispute ends in golf club attack

Two teenagers have been arrested for smashing a neighbours window with golf clubs.
Officers attended Waithlands Road yesterday afternoon (Monday 16 February) to find there had been a dispute between two households, leading to an attack on one of the houses.
A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
A spokesman from Greater Manchester Police confirmed that investigations are ongoing.
He said: “At 12.30pm on Monday 16 February 2009, police were called to a house on Waithlands Road, Rochdale, following reports that a window had been deliberately smashed by offenders carrying golf clubs.
“Officers attended and a 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.
“Both remain in police custody for questioning”.
