Kirsty aims high for the big fall

Parachute jump for free and raise vital funds for Springhill Hospice.
A Rochdale Online reporter who is due to jump out of a plane from 10,000ft for charity has said she hopes to reach £1000 before the day.
Kirsty Rigg has had massive support from Rochdale Online readers who donated over £700 in just two weeks, including sponsors from Paul Rowen MP.
But as time is running out, Kirsty is making a fresh appeal for sponsors in the hope of reaching the £1000 mark, which will all go to Springhill Hospice.
Her fundraising target of £395 was exceeded in just four days.
Kirsty said: “I’m due to jump on 28 March, which did seem like a long way away, but its creeping up on me.
“I couldn’t believe the support I got from the readers, it made me realise just how much people care about the hospice.
“A friend suggested I aim for £1000, and with the support I have had already, it could actually happen”.
