A mother of three who died after falling from her bedroom window did not die suspiciously, say police.
Julie Hughes, 40, was found in her back yard on Miller Street, Heywood on Monday 2 February.
A neighbour heard the frantic barking of Mrs Hughes’ dog and went round to find her lying unconscious.
She was taken to Fairfield Hospital where she later died from head and chest injuries.
A spokesperson from Greater Manchester Police said: “Shortly after 2.40am on Monday 2 February 2009, police were called to Fairfield General Hospital, Bury following reports a woman had been admitted in a collapsed condition.
“Officers attended and discovered a 40-year-old woman had died.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and the case has been passed to the coroner”.
