Rochdale's Youth Team coach Chris Beech has roped in his young charges to take part in a charity abseil in aid of Cystic Fibrosis UK.
The 34-year old and his players will descend the walls of the Botany Bay shopping outlet in Chorley on Good Friday, with a top prize going to the jumper that raises the most money.
Cystic Fibrosis is a cause close to the heart of the former Huddersfield player as his three year old son Brandon suffers from the condition. Beech said: "It is a great cause as cystic fibrosis is one of biggest inherited diseases and this money will hopefully help scientists in the long term find a cure."
