Police hunt Rochdale-born assault suspect
Date published: 09 February 2009
Lancashire Police are hunting a man originally from Rochdale who is wanted on prison recall for a 'wounding with intent' offence in June 2001.
The last known addresses of Miguel Jose Talamantis, 28, were in Whitworth and Colne but it is believed that he may still have connections to the Rochdale area.
The search for Talamantis is part of a Lancashire Police crackdown on finding criminals wanted on warrant. Working in conjunction with Greater Manchester police and other forces across the North West, 43 arrests have so far been made, including one in Rochdale.
Talamantis is one of five criminals that remain outstanding as part of the operation and police are seeking help from the public in catching them.
If you have any information relating to wanted criminals call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
