M62 fully re-opened at Heywood
Date published: 06 February 2009
The eastbound carriageway of the M62 has now fully re-opened after an earlier accident had caused delays.
The carriageway had been closed from junction 19, Heywood, because of the heavy accident and there was a diversion in place.
Traffic has also returned to normal on the westbound carriageway after drivers had slowed down to look at the accident opposite.
Two people suffered minor injuries as a number of cars collided on the motorway.
