Backdoor Music Project
Rochdale's secret millionaire, who donated £70,000 to the Backdoor Music Project, is ready to expand the scheme across the nation.
Hilary Devey, owner of a Midlands freight company, visited Backdoor as part of Channel 4's 'The Secret Millionaire'. She was so impressed by the project that she now hopes to take the Backdoor blueprint to the rest of the country.
The project helps young people keep out of trouble by providing a live music venue as well as equipment for them to develop their own musical talent.
Ms Devey will role out the project in Leicester on the first step of the nationwide expansion.
